Job Summary:
In this role, you will support material planning and/or material coordination for a small to medium project site as directed by a Supervisor. Coordination activities will include reporting of material work package statuses for installation. Your efforts will support adequate and accurate materials and equipment at the jobsite.
"This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and will require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership". #LI-RG1
Major Responsibilities:
Material Coordination
  • Performs material coordination activities at a jobsite under Supervision within material discipline of responsibility to ensure the accurate reporting of material and equipment work package statuses for installation
  • Monitors planned inventory control mechanisms, such as min-max and bag-and-tag and uses Digital Supply Chain tools as directed by Supervisor
  • Coordinates material availability in support of design revisions, rework, contingency or work-around plans
  • Coordinates with warehouse personnel for materials to be issued direct to the installation area, as opposed to being controlled in storage
  • Prepares reports as directed by Supervisor

Material Planning
  • Performs planning activities as directed by Supervisor
  • Coordinates material planning activities for a material discipline area of responsibility
  • Monitors Engineering and Supply Chain deliverable schedules to meet the construction schedule

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience

Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Knowledge of procurement operations related to the management of materials at area, regional, temporary and jobsite office locations.
  • Knowledge in Field Engineering and Construction activities, and knowledge of Standard Work Process Procedures related to materials management functions.
  • Knowledge of Engineering disciplines, the work process and the deliverables produced.
  • Prior experience in EPC projects, which include Engineering, Procurement, and materials control activities.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills preferred.
