Job Summary

The Material Coordinator manages the inventory of products, parts, and materials for their assigned area. This role is responsible for processing incoming and outgoing orders, maintaining database accuracy, preparing reports, and addressing inventory shortages or bottlenecks as they arise.

Key Responsibilities

Material & Inventory Coordination

  • Coordinate Production & Movement: Organize and track tasks for the production and movement of materials based on the material requirement process.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory counts of materials and parts for your assigned area; identify part shortages and recommend solutions for straightforward issues.
  • Order Processing: Process and transact incoming and outgoing orders, ensuring completion and verification accuracy.
  • Database Maintenance: Update and maintain database systems daily to ensure all material tracking information is accurate.
  • Reporting: Prepare and distribute routine reports and documentation related to products and materials in your area.

Project & Time Management

  • Prioritization: Manage individual priorities, deadlines, and deliverables independently.
  • Adaptability: Adapt quickly to changes or setbacks to manage pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
