Position Overview:ย The Project Coordinator willย assistย in the planning, organizing, and coordinating of high-voltage electric transmission andย distributionย construction and maintenance projects. This role involves supporting the project management team with scheduling, budgeting, documentation, communication, and implementation tasks to ensureย the successfulย execution of projects.

What You'll Do

Keyย Responsibilities:ย 

Project Support and Coordination:ย 

  • Assistย with budget tracking for labor, material, equipment, and subcontractors.ย 
  • Support the preparation of contracts andย assistย with negotiating revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.ย 
  • Help develop and manage project Schedule of Values (SOV), update based on production, and prepare billing packages.ย 
  • Organize and prepare progress tracking dataย to be reported.ย 
  • Assistย in the organization ofย data intoย Projectย Completion Tracking documents.ย 

Documentation and Reporting:ย 

  • Maintain electronic and printed files of working documentsย in accordance withย outlined document control practices.ย 
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly projections and progress reports for all construction activities.ย 
  • Assistย in preparing and updating project documentation, including submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs).ย 

Stakeholder Communication and Issue Resolution:ย 

  • Communicate with supervisory personnel, subcontractors, or engineers to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems.ย 
  • Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients,ย representingย the owner or developer.ย 

Material and Quality Management:ย 

  • Develop andย maintainย project material trackers based on customer Bill of Materials (BOM), drawings, and scope. Track inventories, production, shortages, and damages.ย 
  • Support the execution of corrective actions to address delays, adverse weather conditions, or emergencies.ย
