Job description

Position Summary 

The Electrical Logistics Lead is responsible for planning, procuring, receiving, tracking, and distributing electrical materials, tools, and PPE to support construction projects. This role works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, vendors, and warehouse personnel to ensure crews have the right materials and equipment at the right time while maintaining accurate inventory and cost control. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Submit material requests and purchase requisitions to vendors. 
  • Obtain bid-level quotes and review vendor pricing for accuracy and lead times. 
  • Verify all ordered materials meet project drawings and specifications. 
  • Track material requests, purchase orders, deliveries, and backorders. 
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming material shipments. 
  • Manage laydown yards and electrical stock inventory. 
  • Maintain and track company tool inventory. 
  • Maintain PPE inventory and distribution for electrical personnel. 
  • Coordinate and deliver materials, tools, and equipment to project sites. 
  • Support field teams with material planning and forecasting. 
  • Reconcile packing slips, purchase orders, and invoices. 
  • Promote safe material handling and warehouse organization. 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience. 
  • Journeyman Electrician (JW) license preferred, but not required. 
  • Strong knowledge of electrical materials, equipment, and the National Electrical Code (NEC). 
  • Experience reading electrical drawings, specifications, and material takeoffs. 
  • Experience with purchasing, inventory management, and vendor coordination preferred. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams) required. 
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. 
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills. 

Physical Requirements 

Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs., work indoors and outdoors, and frequently walk, stand, bend, and load/unload materials.
