Our consultants participate in meaningful projects that have an impact locally, nationally, and globally. As a CSpring Consultant, you will work with a team to develop state of the art solutions to business problems. You will interact with our clients and project teams, leverage your business and technical skills, discuss solutions with team members, and analyze client needs to develop important solutions. You will be a true partner to our clients, dedicated to making each client a raving fan.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct interview sessions with state partners to elicit and validate functional and technical requirements
  • Collaborate with State agencies, software developers, user interface designers, quality assurance, and project management to define requirements and acceptance criteria for implementation
  • Effectively analyze information obtained in project work sessions to develop thorough and well thought out requirements
  • Create detailed and effective project specification documentation, which may include user stories, use cases, flowcharts, requirements specifications
  • Maintain project documentation throughout project lifecycle, continually keeping the backlog updated and accurate

Required Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems or another relevant technical program
  • Excellent technical and documentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task, manage workload, and deliver results to meet competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to understand business functionality and translate it into system and application requirements
  • Ability to create compelling business cases as a by-product of highly effective interview sessions
  • Excellent understanding of business complexity and project interdependencies
  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to question thought partners across functional areas
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise in work products
  • Ability to partner with software developers and quality analysts to identify course of resolutions
  • Strong understanding of basic system development, object-oriented design, information risk and security guidelines, and architecture standards
  • Strong understanding of Web/mobile/e-commerce applications

Experience:
  • A minimum of 5 years in business analysis or related position
  • A minimum of 3 years defining functional and technical requirements for Web/mobile/e-commerce applications
  • Experience with gathering requirements for new Web/mobile/e-commerce applications to be built from the ground up
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst for software projects exceeding $500,000 and more than 6 months in duration
