JOB TITLE: Master Planner
LOCATION: Palmdale, CA
PAY RATE: $22.50-130/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Support development and maintenance of Program Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).

  • Assist with proposal schedule development, including Statement of Work (SOW) and Basis of Estimate (BOE) support.

  • Analyze schedules and advise Program Management teams on contractual impacts, critical events, delivery risks, and cost impacts.

  • Apply Critical Path Methodology (CPM) for schedule network development and analysis.

  • Support Earned Value Management (EVM) activities and schedule reporting.

  • Coordinate across Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and functional organizations, including:

    • Engineering

    • Procurement

    • Contracts

    • Business Management

    • Production

  • Prepare status reports, metrics, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders.

  • Support risk and opportunity analysis and additional program planning activities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Active Secret Clearance

  • Experience with cost and/or schedule management.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams, projects, or programs.

  • Experience presenting to leadership, customers, and stakeholders.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated hands-on program planning and scheduling experience.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working across technical teams and supporting technical products.

  • Experience with Deltek Open Plan Scheduling Tool.

  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).

  • Experience with IPMDAR (Integrated Program Management Data & Analysis Report).

  • Experience with Milestones Professional software.

  • Experience supporting Capture, Research & Development, and Production Scheduling activities.

  • Experience supporting Engineering Manufacturing & Development (EMD) programs.
