GeoLogics is working with a top Aerospace and Defense client looking for a Master Planner in Fort Worth, Texas.

Role: Master Planner

Client: Top Aerospace and Defense company

Clearance: Secret Clearance to start

Location: Forth Worth, Texas

Schedule/Travel: 4/10

Education: Bachelors

Contract Length: 1 year with possibility of extension

Rate: $60 to $130 per hour DOE, on a non-benefitted W2 contract

Job Description:

GeoLogics is seeking a Master Planner to provide planning and scheduling support to meet multiple mission requirements located in Fort Worth, TX. You will assist in the development and maintenance of components of the Program Integrated Master Schedule, including proposal schedule development, review/support Statement of Work and Basis of Estimate development. Advises the Program Management team when and if a contractual impact is expected or when critical events have happened, including factors which may impact delivery or cost. Ensure Communication and Cross-coordination with IPTs. To succeed, you will need experience utilizing Critical Path Methodology and know how to apply it in schedule network development and analysis. You will develop/refine knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM). In this role, you will interact across a variety of program functional organizations such as engineering, procurement, contracts, business management and production. Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to work in a team environment. Possess ability to prepare status reports, metrics and make presentations as required. Must be self-starter and have demonstrated Program Planning and Scheduling hands-on experience. Additional responsibilities will be assigned as required. Position interacts across a variety of program functional organizations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experiences with cost and/or schedule
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams, projects, or programs
  • Deliver presentations to leadership, customers, or other stakeholders

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working independently across Technical Teams developing a basic level understanding of the technical product
  • Experience providing risk and opportunity analysis input
  • Experience with Deltek Open Plan Scheduling Tool
  • Experience with EVM (Earned Value Management)
  • Demonstrated Experience with IPMDAR (Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report)
  • Experience with Milestones Professional software
  • Experience with Capture, Research & Development, Production Scheduling Requirements and dependencies between functions
  • Experience working Engineering Manufacturing and Development (EMD) programs
