Job description

Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Master Data Management (MDM) System Analyst to join our master data management team. The MDM Analyst will be responsible for data auditing, extractions, reporting, administration and testing. This role plays a key part in supporting enterprise data initiatives, improving data quality, and enabling data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
  • Utilize strong data management skills and tools to maintain and manage master data across key domains (e.g., product, location, customer, vendor, employee)
  • Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data quality and consistency
  • Employ strong Python and programming skills to quickly resolve data discrepancies and build/restructure business rules and conditions
  • Monitor and resolve data quality issues and discrepancies across systems
  • Support MDM tools and platforms, including configuration, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Perform analysis and determine root-cause of problems
  • Raise issues and recommend optimal solutions or improvements to increase data integrity
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define data standards, policies, and governance processes
  • Participate in data migration, integration, and transformation projects
  • Develop and execute unit and integration tests
  • Assist in the implementation of data governance frameworks and data stewardship programs
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to data definitions, data flows, and business rules
  • Generate reports and dashboards to track data quality metrics and KPIs
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems and processes
  • Provide training and support to business users on MDM processes and tools

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in data management/analysis working with master data system
  • Experience with MDM tools (e.g., Informatica, Syndigo, Stibo) is a plus

Skills
  • Understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and relational databases
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, APIs, and data analysis tools
  • Strong understanding of data integrations across systems, including skills to manage them
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate autonomously
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK) is desirable
