Our firm is looking for experienced mass tort paralegals to help us represent numerous injured plaintiffs against some of the largest corporations in the nation. We want you on our team!
Local candidates or those planning to relocate to the Pensacola area are preferred.
Our ideal candidate will work with the Attorney(s) to perform many tasks during the litigation process.
Paralegals are a valuable part of the legal team, often working on all phases of the case from beginning to end.

Requirements
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm (possible overtime, as needed).
  • 1-3 years of mass tort Paralegal/legal work experience with or without formal legal education/certification.
  • Ability to oversee procedures and manage work flow among a litigation team/department.
  • Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong research, writing and communication skills
  • Must have computer skills, specifically in Windows environment

Job Duties:
  • Research and analyze law sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions and legal codes.
  • Assist with drafting, reviewing and finalizing correspondence, pleadings, motions, discovery and many other documents needed in preparation for trial/court
  • Attend trials acting as an assistant to the Attorney(s) during the court proceedings
  • Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendices
  • Assist in depositions, witness preparation and research
  • Arrange/partake in client interviews while obtaining case-related information
  • Manage a department/team of support staff, act as a liaison between the team & the Attorney(s)
  • Maintain and manage client files
  • Routine office duties
