Lead Patient Care Assistant Job Description

Unique opportunity to join Maryhaven, Central Ohio's largest and most comprehensive behavioral services provider specializing in addiction recovery. We are looking for skilled, talented, and compassionate people to join our team! We remain driven by our value of excellence in quality care for all and fostering a culture that embraces dignity of all. Under the supervision of the Manager of Homeless Programs, the Lead Patient Care Assistant (PCA) will hire, train, supervise, and evaluate all PCA's in the program, and will maintain staff schedule to ensure appropriate shift coverage. The Lead PCA will become proficient in all PCA tasks to ensure staff are properly trained. The Lead PCA will participate in on-call after hours. The PCA will help facilitate the safety, maintenance, and rules of the Engagement Center.

Lead Patient Care Assistant Requirements

  • Associate degree in a related field, preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Training and certification in law enforcement, correctional or security environments, preferred.
  • Minimum three years' experience in related field, preferred. Related fields include: homelessness, mental health, substance abuse, corrections.
  • CDCA or equivalent, preferred.
