Job description

We are looking for an Assistant Hotel General Manager to join our growing company. Over half of our general managers were internal promotions and we pride ourselves on developing our people for future growth. In the AGM role you will help oversee the daily operations of our hotel to ensure a smooth and profitable operation.

Must pass drug and background screen to qualify. You will be a key person of reference for employees and clients as well as external vendors. The AGM must be able to guide the employees to work as a well-functioning team. The ideal candidate will be a team player and an effective leader, able to set examples and foster a climate of cooperation.

The goal is to enhance customer dedication and provide our guests with an excellent experience by providing world class service and accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager in supervising work at all levels (Front Desk, Breakfast staff, housekeeping staff and set clear objectives

• Assist in plan activities and allocate responsibilities to achieve the most efficient operating model

• Communicate with guests (welcome them in the facilities, address their complaints, find solutions to problems, offer information etc.)

• Assist in dealing with maintenance issues, shortages in staff or equipment, renovations etc.

• Assist in inspecting facilities regularly and enforce strict compliance with health and safety standards
