Job Description

At Freshworks, we're introducing AI across our go-to-market organization to accelerate how we understand buyers and act on revenue signals.

As a key member of the Web & Revenue Marketing team, you will build the internal agents, workflows, and intelligence systems that help our frontline teams operate more effectively. Currently, our buyer signals are scattered across systems like Salesforce, Marketo, Outreach, product usage data, and intent platforms. Your role will be to bridge these gaps—connecting the signals, providing context, and enabling teams to take fast action. You'll have full executive sponsorship, high-impact problems to solve, and a blank canvas to shape how AI is applied across the Freshworks go-to-market organization.

What You Will Do

  • Build AI-Powered GTM Workflows: Design and deploy intelligent workflows across lead management, account research, routing, scoring, prioritization, personalization, seller briefings, and follow-up support.
  • Turn Buyer Signals into Action: Build systems that detect, enrich, prioritize, and act on high-value buyer activity across the funnel by engineering contextual data pipelines (web activity, intent, product usage, CRM history).
  • Create the GTM Agent Tool Layer: Integrate tools and APIs across our stack, including Salesforce, Clay, Marketo, Relevance, Claude Code, sales engagement platforms, web analytics, enrichment providers, and internal data sources.
  • Build Intelligent Alerts: Create systems that notify teams of critical buyer activity, such as target account engagement, key persona activity, competitor mentions, buying committee movement, or stalled follow-up.
  • Move Prototypes to Production: Take working AI/automation concepts and harden them with robust authentication, logging, tracing, retries, error handling, documentation, and cost controls.
  • Partner Across the Revenue Engine: Collaborate with Web, Marketing Ops, Sales Ops, Demand Gen, RevOps, SDR/BDR teams, and Core Engineering to translate business needs into scalable systems.
Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

Technical & AI Engineering Experience:

  • Background: Experience as a Software Engineer, Automation Engineer, GTM/ RevOps Engineer, or AI/ML Engineer working with complex systems and varied datasets.
  • AI/LLM Application: Hands-on experience building AI or LLM-powered applications, automations, or workflows using patterns like function calling, structured outputs, LangGraph, MCP, or custom orchestration (e.g., Claude, OpenAI, Relevance).
  • Integration Skills: Strong technical skills with APIs, webhooks, OAuth, queues, retries, and system integrations.
  • Production Standards: Experience with evals, monitoring, observability, and quality/cost controls for AI systems.

GTM & Domain Knowledge:

  • Revenue Operations: Strong understanding of inbound/outbound GTM motions and experience building automations for lead management, prospecting, routing, qualification, or prioritization.
  • Tech Stack: Experience integrating CRM Systems (Salesforce), marketing automation (Marketo), sales engagement platforms, GitHub, and internal data warehouses.
  • Execution: Strong program ownership in ambiguous environments; ability to translate non-technical revenue team needs into technical solutions.

Nice to Have

  • Background working directly with Sales, Sales Development, Marketing Ops, Revenue Operations, or Growth Engineering teams.
  • Experience structuring messy, unstructured data from transcripts, emails, notes, forms, and intent signals into clean inputs.
  • Experience with web personalization, experimentation, conversion optimization, or buyer journey systems.
  • Experience building internal-facing tools that directly improve front-line team productivity.

We encourage you to apply even if you do not meet every qualification. Strong candidates may come from engineering, revenue systems, automation, AI, growth, or technical GTM backgrounds. If you can build reliable systems that help revenue teams act faster and smarter, we would like to hear from you.
