Position Overview: 

The Marketing Operations Manager plays a critical role within the marketing team, focused on optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing processes, technology, and metrics. This role ensures strategies are executed smoothly and performance is measured accurately. The Marketing Operations Manager bridges the gap between marketing and other departments, such as Clinic Operations and IT, to maintain a cohesive approach to market engagement. This role’s expertise in marketing technology, analytics and process management is essential for driving the continuous improvement of marketing efforts and contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Location: This position will be primarily remote with occasional travel (approx. 10%) required. Preferred candidates will be located in US Eastern Time zone. 

What You Will Do
  • Lead recurring reviews of marketing automation processes with internal stakeholders and functional leaders to identify areas for improvement, optimization, and innovation 
  • Track, analyze, and report on marketing campaign performance to inform strategic decisions  
  • As the marketing technology subject matter expert, configure and manage the software stack to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and strategies. Including, but not limited to, workflow and automation setup, fields/forms customization, system-wide rules configuration, website content updates, and user roles/permissions setup   
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and other relevant regulatory requirements such as GDPR, CCPA and ADA while monitoring best practices within marketing operations   
  • In cases where additional configuration support is required, evaluate, engage, and manage consultants who are software subject matter experts   
  • Translate business needs into system requirements and ensure that these are clearly communicated to and understood by IT, consultants and/or software vendors  
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure newly implemented features are functioning as intended  
  • Provide training and mentoring to marketing staff on best practices and using new features 
  • Monitor system performance, quickly identify and resolve software/process problems and provide regular system performance trend reports  
  • Proactively evaluate upcoming software releases for potential impacts to production environment and new feature adoption opportunities, obtain stakeholder alignment on the most impactful features, and lead the testing and implementation of any new features   
  • Maintain a prioritized list of SkinSpirit specific feature requests submitted to software vendors and negotiate the business case for them to be built  
  • Project manage the implementation of any new software, including evaluation, contract negotiation, implementation and ongoing renewals   
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives and facilitate continuous improvement (for example, Clinic Operations, Information Technology, Learning & Development) 
  • Ongoing optimization of the marketing software budget by managing licenses, usage, and value for investment ensuring spending is aligned with strategy and objectives 
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and inform marketing strategies 


What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree required  
  • 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with HubSpot; strong technical expertise required 
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4) 
  • Expertise in Google Tag Manager 
  • Experience with marketing attribution management
  • Experience managing and maintaining digital marketing systems to ensure legal compliance (e.g., cookie consent tools), with familiarity in GDPR, CCPA, and ADA compliance 
  • Experience with data privacy platforms such as Osano or OneTrust preferred 
  • Experience managing the configuration of a variety of marketing technologies including WebFlow, EventBright and other modern marketing platforms  
  • Experience with multi-unit business models including but not limited to healthcare, MedSpa, and brick-and-mortal retail a plus 
  • Experience project managing marketing tool implementations from beginning to successful completion  
  • High proficiency with Excel, Power BI and/or other business intelligence tools to discover impactful process insights and evaluate system performance  
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills   
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence others 
  • Ability to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment  
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team   
  • Consistently demonstrates good judgment, strong character, ethics, and high standards of performance   


Physical Requirements: 
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Occasionally stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, knee, crouch or crawl, talk and hear 
  • This position is fully remote but occasional short-term travel may be required
