Key Responsibilities
Local Marketing Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and manage the local marketing strategy aligned to business goals, customer needs, and local market dynamics.
  • Translate strategic priorities into clear roadmaps, briefs, and measurable plans that enable effective in-market execution.
  • Identify market opportunities and recommend where to amplify investment based on performance, competitive context, and channel insights.
  • Drive local market amplification efforts (e.g., campaigns, events, agent partner initiatives) to increase awareness and lead generation.
  • Partner with channel and execution teams to ensure consistent messaging and timely delivery across touchpoints.
  • Create feedback loops to continuously improve creative, offers, targeting, and in-market performance.
  • Build and evolve the local agent strategy to strengthen agent and HLA partnerships and improve funnel performance.
  • Define target agent segments, value propositions, engagement motions, and marketing tactics that support relationship growth
  • Manage a team of 3-5 employees.

Product & Program Communications (New + Existing)
  • Manage ongoing updates to products/programs, including refreshes to value proposition, messaging, processes, and Sales marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with Product, Legal and Compliance to ensure communications are accurate, approved, and clearly understood.
  • Monitor adoption and performance; recommend enhancements to improve customer and partner engagement.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Representation
  • Serve as Marketing representative in cross-functional meetings and forums; communicate key updates, decisions, and timelines.
  • Partner closely with Product, Legal, and Compliance to align plans, manage risks, and secure approvals.
  • Ensure marketing activities adhere to all applicable policies and standards, and proactively surface issues and mitigations.

Skills & Capabilities
  • Strategic development: ability to set direction, define a roadmap, and prioritize initiatives based on impact.
  • Tactical execution: ability to translate strategy into deliverables, manage timelines, and drive results in-market.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management (including working effectively with Brand, Sales and Legal/Compliance partners).
  • Clear written and verbal communication, including executive-ready updates and concise program documentation.
  • Comfort operating across ambiguity; able to create structure, drive decisions, and move work forward.
  • Analytical orientation: defines success metrics, monitors performance, and uses insights to optimize.

Qualifications (customize as needed)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing strategy, program management, go-to-market, or related roles (financial services and/or home lending experience preferred).
  • Experience launching and managing programs that require cross-functional coordination and formal approval processes.
  • Experience with local/field marketing, partner marketing, or channel marketing is a plus.
