Hearth & Home Technologies is looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to join our Marketing Department, part of the Fireplaces Business Unit in Lakeville, MN. This is a hybrid position (4 days in office/1 day remote). This role owns both creative output and process improvement. It ensures products are successfully brought to market through strong creative execution while continuously improving the processes, tools, vendors, and teams that make marketing more efficient, scalable, and effective.

We are seeking a hands-on Marketing Operations Manager to lead, scale, and execute high-quality creative output from concept to completion. In this role, you will serve as the essential connective tissue between external vendors and internal teams—including Brand, Digital, Segment, and Channel Marketing—to optimize processes and deliver projects on time and on budget.
Key Responsibilities
Product Launch & Portfolio Activation
- Serve as the primary marketing partner to Product Management
- Lead development and execution of launch materials, sales tools, communications, website content, and promotional support
- Ensure ongoing portfolio materials remain accurate, relevant, and effective throughout the product lifecycle
Creative Production & Content Development
- Oversee photography, video production, and creative asset development.
- Coordinate internal and external creative resources to deliver high-quality marketing materials
- Support brand consistency and execution across all customer touchpoints
Marketing Operations & Process Improvement
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve marketing workflows, efficiency, and effectiveness
- Optimize tools, systems, resource planning, and operational processes
- Drive adoption and utilization of marketing technologies and best practices
Event, Vendor & Resource Management
- Oversee external agencies, production partners, and creative vendors
- Support execution of trade shows, customer events, and experiential marketing initiatives
- Manage budgets, contracts, scopes of work, and performance expectations
Team Leadership & Organizational Enablement
- Lead and develop project management and event management resources
- Ensure cross-functional alignment, accountability, and successful delivery of key initiatives
- Build a scalable operating model that enables Marketing to deliver more effectively with greater consistency and impact
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience: 5–8 years of experience in creative operations, production, or a related field
- Organizational skills: Highly organized with exceptional ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and shifting requirements simultaneously
- Vendor Management: Proven experience managing external vendors, contracts, budgets, and production logistics
- Workflow Knowledge: Strong understanding of creative workflows across print, digital, and multimedia
- Team Leadership: Proven experience managing, developing, coaching, and mentoring direct reports
- Technical Skills: Competency in core creative production tools and platforms
- Soft Skills: Excellent cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder management, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Event Marketing: Direct experience supporting trade shows, events, or experiential marketing
- Platform Expertise: Deep familiarity with project management systems and design software
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to manage shifting priorities with a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset
