Job description

Job Title: Marketing Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, data-driven Marketing Manager to lead patient acquisition and retention initiatives at a fast-growing dermatology group with de novo expansion of 5-7 new practice launches per year. This individual will partner closely with the VP of Marketing to develop practice-level strategies that build awareness in each territory, drive patient volume, optimize marketing spend, and support scalable growth.

This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on execution. The Marketing Manager will lead day-to-day marketing operations, manage campaign planning, ensure adherence to budgets, and oversee the Digital Marketing Specialist, Marketing Assistant and Graphic Designer. In partnership with the individual producer roles on the team, the Marketing Manager will oversee a Google Ads consultant, copywriter, and website developer. The ideal candidate is both a strong operator and a strategic thinker who understands how to translate performance data into actionable insights.ย 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Practice-Level Marketing

  • Partner with the VP of Marketing to develop marketing strategies across paid digital, SEO, organic social, email campaigns, radio, TV, billboards, direct mail and local partnerships, tailored to meet new patient acquisition needs and overall practice forecasts.
  • Using data and analytics platforms (Salesforce, PowerBI, Google Analytics), monitor and report on performance metrics including new patient acquisition, CPA, and ROI. Identify optimization opportunities and make recommendations based on performance data.
  • Own project management of new practice and provider launches and campaign calendars and oversee channel execution by direct reports to meet timelines and forecast expectations.
  • Ensure all marketing initiatives align with establish brand guidelines, voice, positioning, and visual identity, maintain consistency in messaging, and apply core brand principles to campaign planning

Campaign Management & Execution Oversight

  • Own and manage the master marketing calendar across all locations
  • Ensure timely execution of campaigns across paid digital, email campaigns, blogs radio, TV, events, and mailings.
  • Maintain alignment between marketing activities and provider capacity and business goals

Team Leadership & Development

  • Directly manage a Digital Marketing Specialist, Marketing Assistant and Graphic Designer
  • Provide clear direction, prioritize workloads, and ensure high-quality execution of day-to-day marketing activities
  • Mentor team members and support their professional development
  • Oversee execution of marketing efforts to ensure best practices are followed, and step in as needed to support hands-on execution and problem-solving

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with contact center, practice managers, regional directors, medical community and providers to align marketing with patient access and capacity
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of lead sources and patient conversion

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 5-7+ years of marketing experience, preferably in healthcare or multi-location organizations
  • Experience high-growth environments strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and drive ROI-focused marketing strategies
  • Experience managing direct reports preferred
