About This Role

The Director of Marketing is a newly created leadership role that will help shape the future of marketing across Sabey Corporation and Sabey Data Centers. Reporting to the President of Sabey Corporation, with strategic oversight from the company's Consulting Media Expert, you'll lead a collaborative team responsible for demand generation, brand strategy, content, video, design, marketing operations, events, and digital marketing.

This role offers the opportunity to build on a strong foundation while modernizing Sabey's marketing strategy, programs, and capabilities. You'll partner closely with Sales, Communications, and executive leadership to develop integrated marketing initiatives, strengthen brand awareness, support business development efforts, and create measurable business impact. How You'll Spend Your Time

  • Develop and lead marketing strategies that engage Sabey's key audiences, including hyperscale and enterprise customers, investors, elected officials, local communities, and current and prospective employees.
  • Translate the company's Marketing & Communications Plan into actionable marketing programs, campaign calendars, channel strategies, and measurable quarterly goals.
  • Manage the annual marketing budget and identify opportunities to maximize impact and return on investment.
  • Partner with company leadership to align marketing initiatives with commercial priorities and long-term business objectives.
  • Expand Sabey's account-based marketing (ABM) strategy in partnership with Sales, supporting key hyperscale, enterprise, and neocloud customers.
  • Build integrated demand generation programs through LinkedIn, trade media, executive thought leadership, executive briefings, podcasts, and other strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Measure and report marketing performance, including pipeline influence, campaign effectiveness, and marketing-sourced opportunities.
  • Lead ongoing marketing programs focused on executive thought leadership, video production, community engagement, and digital content.
  • Help grow Sabey's in-house creative capabilities by hiring, mentoring, and developing marketing talent while building strong relationships with external creative partners.
  • Lead and support a multidisciplinary team, including Marketing, Design, Video Production, Events, Digital Marketing, and Marketing Operations.
  • Evaluate and implement modern marketing technology, automation, analytics, and AI-enabled tools that improve campaign performance and operational efficiency.
  • Establish brand standards, messaging, and creative consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Partner closely with the Head of Communications to support executive communications, community engagement, and strategic messaging while maintaining clear ownership across both functions.
  • Travel approximately 25-35% to Sabey campuses, customer locations, and industry events.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Five or more years of progressive marketing leadership experience within B2B technology, data centers, real estate, infrastructure, or a related industry.
  • Experience leading cross-functional marketing teams across multiple disciplines, including demand generation, content, creative, events, digital marketing, and marketing operations.
  • Proven success developing integrated marketing strategies that support business growth and strengthen brand awareness.
  • Experience with account-based marketing (ABM), demand generation, and digital marketing programs.
  • Experience in one or more of the following industries: data centers, hyperscale cloud, colocation, AI infrastructure, industrial real estate, or critical infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with modern marketing automation, CRM, analytics, and AI-enabled marketing tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for a variety of audiences.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and leadership skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • A collaborative leadership style and a passion for building high-performing teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and modern marketing technologies.
