Position Overview:
The Marketing Manager reports to the Sr. Director of Marketing of the Telecommunication account and is responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing marketing strategies for Telecommunication's prepaid brands. We're looking for a best-in-class marketer and a seller: someone with strong communication and negotiation skills, a data-driven mindset, and a passion for marketing. To be successful, you will have experience having developed and managed marketing initiatives and programs, preferably in the mobile telecommunication field. You will be adaptive, an attentive listener, able to work in a fast-paced, highly competitive environment, collaborating with your cross functional colleagues both on the account team as well as our mobile headquarters located in Plano, TX while focusing on Telecommunication and its subsidiaries, as our customers.
Responsibilities and Duties:
โ€ข Lead the development and delivery of a holistic prepaid go-to-market playbook that connects all of our mobile category products with contents & services offerings, partnership assets
โ€ข Works with sales leads to develop and customize integrated marketing campaigns to support product launches as well as life cycle management activities including promotion and digital merchandising
โ€ข Develop unique local, regional programs to drive objectives in Get, Grow, Protect markets while integrating channel partner assets with client's product launch and other commercial moments throughout the year
โ€ข Collaborate with Business Planning, Strategy and Analytics, Product Management and Sales to drive Revenue, Market Share, and Switching and Retention Targets in prepaid channels
โ€ข Create internal (client) and external (customer) communications to communicate value propositions and channel strategies
โ€ข Support analysis and development of channel marketing strategic framework and enhanced Galaxy value prop: "Why Galaxy"differentiator
Background/Experience Required:
โ€ข Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or business-related field
โ€ข 6+ years of work experience (mobile or Client industry preferred)
โ€ข Strong understanding of traditional and digital marketing and the principles of driving audience relevance but ultimately the need to drive sales
โ€ข A proven self-starter, they must be a highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
โ€ข Outstanding interpersonal and problem-solving skills for both internal and external discussions
