D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Senior Marketing Design Lead. The right candidate is responsible for leading the visual design and creative execution of digital marketing initiatives that support brand awareness, customer engagement, lead generation, and sales performance. This position establishes design standards, guides creative development, and collaborates with content, product and creative design teams to deliver high-quality customer experiences across digital and traditional marketing channels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Lead the development and execution of creative concepts, visual assets, and marketing campaigns across multiple formats

  • Maintain design standards, brand guidelines, and visual identity requirements to ensure consistency across all platforms

  • Partner with Marketing, Product Management, Content, and Sales teams to develop creative solutions that support business objectives and customer engagement

  • Create and review designs, layouts, graphics, presentations, advertisements, landing pages, and campaign assets to ensure quality and effectiveness

  • Provide creative direction and design guidance to internal designers, freelancers, agencies, and external creative partners

  • Evaluate campaign performance, customer engagement data, and user feedback to improve design effectiveness and conversion outcomes

  • Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously while ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards

  • Define team processes and operating models that improve efficiency and strengthen collaboration

  • Research emerging design trends, technologies, and customer experience best practices to enhance creative capabilities and innovation

  • Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

  • Ability to travel overnight

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 7 years of professional experience in marketing design, digital design, or creative leadership roles, including experience leading projects or teams

  • Experience leading, mentoring, or managing designers and facilitating team develoment

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating modern, high-quality digital work across multiple channels

  • Expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite

  • Deep understanding of typography, layout, visual systems, and storytelling

  • Experience building scalable design systems and repeatable creative frameworks

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form or via DRH applications

  • Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision

  • The noise level is generally moderate

Preferred Qualifications

  • Motion design or art direction experience preferred

  • Experience within real estate, homebuilding, lifestyle, or consumer brands a plus

  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS for digital marketing experiences
