Marketing and Communications Assistant Temporary full- time role Fully remote MUST be in PST time zone A well-known client is looking for a remote Sales Assistant to support the marketing communication s teams. . You'll sit within the Marketing & Communications function, but your day-to-day focus is supporting the sales team.

You take vague briefs, half-finished ideas, and last-minute requests — and turn them into clean, compelling materials that make salespeople look great in front of clients. You're organized where others aren't, calm when things move fast, and you genuinely enjoy getting things done. What You'll Actually Be Doing Serve as the primary marketing contact for the sales team — fielding requests, running brief sessions, and delivering polished collateral (presentations, proposals, leave-behinds, and more) Manage the full lifecycle of sales materials — from initial request all the way through to a final, approved, and filed deliverable Build clean, professional decks in PowerPoint and assemble materials in Canva using brand templates and guidelines Coordinate with external designers and creative suppliers — briefing clearly, following up reliably, and keeping things on track Support bids and proposals by pulling together credentials, case studies, and supporting materials using AI tools where appropriate Attend sales meetings and provide marketing support independently — no hand-holding required You're Probably a Great Fit If...

You've supported a sales team before and know how to translate "can you make something for this pitch?" into a real, structured brief You're a PowerPoint power user — you can make a deck look sharp, structured, and on-brand without needing a designer to hold your hand You're organized to a slightly alarming degree — clear file names, logical folder structures, no mystery documents You don't freeze up when priorities shift at 4pm — you adapt, reprioritize, and still deliver You've managed external creative suppliers and know how to give a design brief that makes sense You communicate clearly and professionally — whether that's a Teams message to a salesperson or a status update to a senior stakeholder Must-Have Skills & Experience Proven experience in a sales support or sales enablement role (building presentations, proposals, and collateral) Strong project management skills — you can manage multiple priorities and deadlines without dropping the ball Ability to work independently with minimal direction and take ownership of deliverables end-to-end Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confidence communicating with senior stakeholders Experience coordinating external vendors — designers, copywriters, or other creative partners Highly organized and detail-oriented, with experience working in fast-paced environments Comfortably translating vague or incomplete requests into clear, structured deliverables MUST HAVE: Experience with MS Office Suite – PowerPoint and Teams, Canva, SharePoint, Google Drive, Trello, Notion and AI tools Experience coordinating photo or video production Familiarity with Canva or light Adobe tools for assembling and formatting materials This is a fully remote role, but must work in PST time zone Indefinite temporary position Must have high speed internet $22-23/hr Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
