Job Summary
  • We're looking for a skilled and motivated Print Production Associate to join our production team at Johnson Printing - where craftsmanship meets creativity. The Print Production Associate is a hands-on role responsible for the end-to-end production of high-quality printed materials. You will operate digital presses, wide-format printers, and various bindery equipment to meet customer specifications.

Specific Job-Related Duties
  • Digital Press Operation: Set up, run, and maintain a digital HP Indigo press to produce brochures, business cards, and other small-format projects.
  • Wide Format Printing: Operate large-format equipment for banners, posters, and signage, including substrate loading and monitoring color accuracy.
  • Bindery & Finishing: Perform post-print tasks such as cutting, folding, laminating, saddle-stitching, and spiral binding.
  • Quality Control: Review job tickets for accuracy and inspect every run for color consistency, alignment, and defects before delivery.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and minor troubleshooting on all shop equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients during deliveries.

Desired Skills & Qualifications
  • Technical Knowledge: Experience with digital print workflows, RIP software, and Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Acrobat and InDesign).
