Marketing Manager (CPA & Wealth Management Firm)
Location: Shelton, CT (On-site)
Position Overview
The Innovative CPA Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to lead and execute integrated marketing initiatives for both our CPA firm and Wealth Management practice. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns, with a strong emphasis on Salesforce-driven marketing execution and automation.
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic marketing expertise, hands-on campaign execution, and team leadership experience. This role also plays a key part in planning and executing both internal and external events that support business development and client engagement across both business lines.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies for both the CPA and Wealth Management practices
  • Design, build, and manage targeted marketing campaigns across multiple channels (email, digital, direct outreach, etc.)
  • Leverage Salesforce (Marketing Cloud, Pardot/Account Engagement) to execute, track, and optimize campaigns
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide reporting, insights, and recommendations for improvement

Salesforce Management & CRM Execution
  • Serve as a key user/administrator of Salesforce for marketing initiatives
  • Build and maintain workflows, lists, segmentation, and campaign tracking
  • Ensure accurate CRM data usage to support marketing and business development efforts

Event Planning & Execution
  • Plan and manage internal and external events for both CPA and Wealth Management teams
  • Coordinate & support client seminars, networking events, educational sessions, and firm-sponsored events

Team Leadership
  • Manage and mentor junior marketing staff or coordinators
  • Oversee project timelines, priorities, and deliverables across marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with leadership, partners, and advisors across both business units

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with tax, audit, and advisory teams as well as financial advisors to support business development goals
  • Align marketing efforts with firm growth initiatives and client acquisition strategies

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in professional services (CPA firm, financial services, or wealth management strongly preferred)
  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce (Marketing Cloud, Pardot/Account Engagement)
  • Experience supporting both B2B professional services and financial advisory/wealth management marketing initiatives
  • Proven experience designing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Prior experience managing or supervising staff
  • Strong event planning and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret campaign performance data
  • Self-starter with ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-touch client environment
