Marine Sales & Dealer Support Representative

We are currently looking for an energetic self-starter to join the team as a Marine Sales & Dealer Support Representative in the Charlotte market. The Marine Sales & Dealer Support Representative is responsible for driving sales of Rehlko marine products, delivering technical support, and building strong, long-term relationships with dealers and OEM partners. This role plays a key part in expanding market presence, supporting customer success, and ensuring a high level of service across the marine network.
 

What youโ€™ll be doing: 

  • Drive business growth by generating revenue and achieving gross margin targets within the Marine Business Unit
  • Research and identify new market opportunities, target markets, and prospective accounts
  • Support and maintain relationships with existing Nixon marine dealers and OEM partners within the assigned territory
  • Identify, pursue, and acquire new customers for product sales, including OEMs and dealers
  • Provide technical support to OEMs, marine dealers, and end users to ensure product understanding and satisfaction
  • Manage sales activities, including following up on leads, preparing sales quotes, and processing sales orders
  • Coordinate service support requests and work with internal teams to ensure timely resolution
  • Organize and deliver training programs for new and existing marine dealers
  • Maintain an adequate network of qualified service dealers within the assigned territory
  • Develop and implement annual dealer development plans and assess territory market strategies in partnership with dealers
  • Assist the Channel/Customer Development Sales Manager (CDSM) in establishing annual sales goals and the Marine Strategic Plan
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support business objectives

  • Knowledge of electrical systems and generators is desired
  • Adapt to urgent customer needs in emergency situations

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite of programs
  • Degree Required: High School Diploma / GED Degree Preferred: Bachelor's Degree
  • Certifications Preferred: Years of Experience: 0-1
  • Generator technical service certifications 
  • 2 years in field service experience strongly preferred 
  • Previous marine generator sales or technical experience preferred 
  • Marine industry experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
  • Ability to stand/walk/sit/climb/balance/stoop/kneel/crouch/crawl
