Job description

Ahoy Captain.

Milicia Marine is growing — and we’re looking for the right leader to take our service department to the next level.
This is not a sit-behind-a-desk management job.
This is a lead-from-the-front leadership role inside a fast-growing marine dealership where your performance directly impacts your income.
If you're the type of person who wants to build a high-performing shop, push technicians to excellence, and earn a six-figure income doing it, we want to talk to you.
About Milicia Marine

Milicia Marine is a family-owned, veteran-led dealership in Fountain, Colorado proudly serving Southern Colorado’s boating community.
We specialize in:
G3 Fishing Boats
SunCatcher Pontoons
Yamaha Outboards
Yamaha WaveRunners (Coming Soon)

Our dealership is growing rapidly, and our service department is the engine that drives our business.

We’re building a shop culture focused on:
Quality Craftsmanship

Continuous Development
Results & Accountability
What This Role Really Is

This position is for a hands-on operational leader who takes ownership of the service department like it’s their own business.
You will be responsible for:
Driving service department revenue
Managing technician productivity and efficiency
Leading and motivating the service team
Maintaining exceptional customer communication
Managing workflow, scheduling, and repair orders
Increasing labor sales, parts sales, and shop efficiency
You will also function as a service writer when needed, assisting with customer check-in, job intake, and communication throughout the repair process.
This is an active leadership position, meaning you will spend significant time on the shop floor working alongside your technicians, not sitting behind a desk.
What Success Looks Like

A successful Service Manager at Milicia Marine will:
Push technicians to achieve 30–40 billed hours per week
Drive strong shop revenue and labor efficiency
Maintain a clean, organized, professional shop
Deliver outstanding customer experiences
Develop technicians and help them grow in their careers
You will be measured by:
Shop revenue
Technician productivity
Customer satisfaction
Department profitability
Team leadership
Compensation

This role is built for motivated leaders who want to earn more than a salary.

Base Salary
$50,000 per year
Performance Commission
Commission is paid based on service department gross profit.
Top performers can earn six figures annually.

This is a performance-driven role — the more the department succeeds, the more you earn.
