Job Description: The United States Marine Corps (USMC) Force-on-Force Training Systems-Next (FoFTS-Next) program provides the training tools needed to prepare Marines for any contingency, anywhere. Saab, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Logistics Analyst to provide integral support to the FoFTS-Next program at Camp Pendleton. The Lead Logistics Analyst will report to the Site Lead and manage logistics support for the site and training exercises involving the Marine Corps Training Instrumentation System (MCTIS). The Lead Logistics Analyst organizes and oversees a variety of responsibilities related to the flow of materials, products, services, and associated systems information. Duties include, but are not limited to, supply chain services, inventory control, critical parts availability, material handling, and the shipment of products. This role evaluates customer support and field service commitments to ensure customer requirements are met. The role supports the operations teams in developing concepts and coordinating product knowledge; provides data analysis for production planning and volume studies; and participates in process improvement efforts. The Lead Logistics Analyst assists in developing logistics plans and procedures, as well as budget tracking and analysis. Responsibilities: * Report to the Site Lead on all matters concerning operational support for MCTIS at the fielded location and assigned Deploy-for-Training activities.
* Provide input to and manage the site budget (cost, investments, and staffing).
* Work with the Site Lead and Operations Officer to conduct logistical planning and support for all MCTIS exercise support activities at the fielded location and non-home site training activities.
* Manage all site OSHA-related and Health & Safety activities in accordance with applicable local laws and regulations.
* Report operational status to the Capability Manager in accordance with quality procedures.
* Ensure that MCTIS training systems are maintained and that configuration is kept as specified.
* Lead the Preventive and Corrective maintenance activities.
* Handle purchasing and shipments related to the CROW.
* Maintain serviceability and resupply of the team's vehicles.
* Ensure spare stock holdings are fit for purpose and that defined stock targets are met.
* Ensure adequate processes and business management guidelines are in place and kept up to date.
* Report system effectiveness, efficiency, and opportunities for improvement to the Saab Quality & Environmental Manager.
* Share best practices and drive continuous improvement.
* Ensure Site Work Instructions (WI/SOPs) are up to date and communicate changes to the CROW staff.
* Direct efforts on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of a variety of factors.
* Drive adoption of new design and development approaches to improve overall quality, reliability, and speed of implementation.
* Exercise judgment and provide guidance in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve results. Security: * Assist in educating site personnel on security matters.
* Suggest security actions.
* Report incidents to the Training Operations Manager and Saab Security Manager.
* Ensure all locking devices, doors, fencing, and other roped-off areas are effective. Report all defects to the Security Manager through the Incident Report System. Compensation Range: $111,700 - $ 145,200 The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training. Skills and Experience: Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline with 15+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 13+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Understanding of USMC Combined Arms Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).
* Experience leading teams of 50+ personnel (10+ years preferred).
* Experience with financial management.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds).
* Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (temperatures exceeding 90°F or below 30°F).
* Valid U.S. driver's license.
* Currently hold, or have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
* Ability to travel for up to 14 days to conduct training or support training events, as required. Citizenship Requirements: Must be a U.S. citizen. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
