Job description

Description:

Oyster Harbors Marine is looking for a skilled Marine Technician (Tradesman) to join our service team on Cape Cod. This role is built for someone who takes pride in their craft—whether your background is marine, automotive, diesel, or another mechanical trade.

You’ll work on premium boats and advanced systems, delivering high-quality repairs, maintenance, and rigging in a professional, team-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair engines and systems including Mercury Marine and Yamaha
  • Perform routine service, commissioning, and seasonal work
  • Troubleshoot electrical, fuel, cooling, and hydraulic systems
  • Service onboard systems including Seakeeper and Dometic
  • Rig and commission boats from brands including Regulator, Everglades, Mag Bay Yachts, Albemarle Boats, Viking Yachts, Valhalla Boatworks, and Princess Yachts
  • Install accessories, electronics, and upgrades
  • Keep work orders accurate and communicate clearly with the team
  • Maintain a clean, safe workspace and support yard operations as needed

Requirements:Qualifications
  • Experience in a mechanical trade (marine preferred, but automotive, diesel, or similar backgrounds welcomed)
  • Strong troubleshooting ability and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Mercury Marine and Yamaha is a plus
  • Willingness to learn systems like Seakeeper and Dometic
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Able to work hands-on in a physically active environment
