Traveling Sheet Metal Foreman

Location: Florida (Travel Required - Projects in Midway, Fort Pierce & surrounding areas)
Compensation: $75,000 - $100,000 base salary (DOE) + Performance-Based Commission

Position Overview

CKP South Heating & Cooling is seeking an experienced Traveling Sheet Metal Foreman to lead commercial HVAC sheet metal installations across multiple Florida project sites. This role will oversee field crews, ensure high-quality workmanship, and keep projects on schedule and within scope. Upcoming projects include Midway (March 2026 start), Fort Pierce (June 2026), and additional projects throughout the state.

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in the field, enjoys travel, and takes pride in delivering top-tier commercial HVAC installations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise sheet metal installation crews on commercial HVAC projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Coordinate daily field operations to meet project timelines
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to company and safety standards
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, GCs, and subcontractors
  • Train and mentor field technicians and apprentices
  • Manage materials, tools, and job site logistics
  • Travel to various project locations throughout Florida

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial HVAC sheet metal experience
  • 2+ years in a foreman or leadership role preferred
  • Strong ability to read blueprints and layout duct systems
  • Proven experience managing crews and job site workflow
  • OSHA knowledge and commitment to job site safety
  • Willingness to travel statewide (lodging/per diem details to be discussed)
  • Valid driver's license
