Bills of Material Support/Manufacturing Engineer

Waukesha, WI โ€“ Full Time

Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Waukesha, WI. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will work to eliminate parts shortages through updating drawings per supplier request, update specifications or callouts on drawings, etc. ECRโ€™s vary from updating simple drawing notes, to creating new components and adding to engine BOMโ€™s. Design Eng/Designer will work with the Production support engineers in the plant on priority and with the design team for the part/BOM creating and release processes.

This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.


Duties:

  • Work in windchill to update drawings & BOMโ€™s for new units, ReUp, & service kits.
  • Work in CREO to make any necessary design changes (if needed).
  • Create components.
  • Release components.
  • Complete ECRโ€™s work with Product Engineering and Design staff.
  • Present all ECOs at cross functional CCB (report out announcement of change across business).

Requirements:

  • PTC CREO expert user knowledge.
  • Communicate in a professional manner in English.
  • Experience in updating 3D models in Creo.
  • Experience in updating drawing borders and other drawing features.
  • Experience and practice in drawing reviews according to ISO drawing standards.
  • Experience using Windchill.
  • Experience using Oracle.
  • Experience in design of engine components.
  • Experience working with a team.
