Job description

The Manufacturing Support Engineer will be responsible for ensuring manufacturability in new product designs, diagnosing manufacturing issues, improving manufacturing processes in a fast paced, innovation-centric environment. This also includes, providing system analysis of customer applications and root cause analysis of product and customer system issues.
Are You Looking To:
• Support Design Engineering and Manufacturing Teams to fulfill customers' needs in a timely manner.
• Debug, Diagnose, Correct, and Document manufacturing problems as they arise.
• Improve Manufacturing processes to increase quality, efficiency, and/or throughput
• Participate in new product development efforts with manufacturability design input
• Establish Personal Time Management System.
• Display a professional demeanor and dress when representing Bel to Customers and Suppliers.
• Mentor Engineers and Technicians.
What You'll Need:
• BS Engineering with 5-10 years of high-speed electronics design and manufacturability
• Three to five years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment
• Must be a Lawful U.S. Permanent Resident or Citizen
• Schematic Capture (ORCAD) or equivalent
• High Speed PCB Layout, Organic and Ceramic Materials
• Strong Electronic Circuit Failure Analysis Capability
• Communications Circuit Design Including:
o 802.11 Ethernet up to 10GE
o Fiber Channel up to 10 x FC
o SPI. I2C, RS-232/422
• Labview, C#, or WinForms Development
• Test Equipment Experience (O-scopes, DCA, BERT, Power Supplies)
• Fiber Optics
• Hands-on Prototype Circuit Debugging
• Design Change Control Processes
• Six-Sigma/LEAN Manufacturing
