Quality Inspector - 2nd Shift

Allentown, PA

$21.00 - $24.00 per hour

2nd Shift - Monday – Friday 3:30p – 12:00a

Precision Metal Manufacturing

We're recruiting for an experiencedQuality Inspectorto join a leading precision metal manufacturer in Allentown, PA.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern manufacturing environment inspecting precision machined components for the heavy truck industry, with excellent benefits and long-term career stability.

What You'll Do

  • Perform visual and mechanical inspections of machined components
  • Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, thread gauges and ring gauges
  • Ensure products meet engineering drawings and customer specifications
  • Identify non-conformances and support corrective actions
  • Complete inspection reports and quality documentation
  • Communicate inspection results with Production and Quality teams
  • Perform follow-up inspections to verify corrective actions
  • Operate CMM equipment (training or experience is an advantage)

What We're Looking For

  • 3-5 years' Quality Inspection experience within manufacturing
  • Experience inspecting precision machined components
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T
  • Knowledge of ANSI and IATF 16949 quality standards
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment
  • CMM operating experience is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
