TMA is a leading manufacturer of precision linear motion products used in industrial automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing equipment worldwide. We are currently seeking a Quality Inspector to join our growing manufacturing team in Hebron, Ohio.
1st or 2nd shift available
What You'll Do
As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision. You will inspect components and finished products, verify conformance to specifications, identify non-conformances, and support continuous improvement efforts throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections of components, assemblies, and finished products using measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, operation sheets, and quality documentation.
- Verify product quality throughout various manufacturing processes, including washing, assembly, packaging, and final inspection.
- Identify, document, and report defects or non-conforming materials.
- Complete quality records, inspection reports, and production documentation accurately.
- Support root cause investigations and corrective actions for quality concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Communicate quality concerns and inspection findings to supervisors and production teams.
- Assist with training and guidance for team members when assigned.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous manufacturing, inspection, or quality experience preferred.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic math and recordkeeping skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
