Job Description Metrology Manager Location: Sturgis, MI Shift: Days Position Overview A leading plastic injection molding manufacturer is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Metrology Manager to lead measurement and calibration operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of metrology systems to ensure precision, compliance, and quality across all production processes. This position is essential for driving adherence to strict industry standards and elevating manufacturing excellence through innovative metrology practices.

Key Responsibilities Lead the calibration, maintenance, and validation of all measurement equipment in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Develop, document, and enforce comprehensive metrology procedures aligned with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, FDA regulations, HACCP, and CGMP. Conduct regular internal quality audits to verify compliance with quality management systems and identify areas for improvement.

Collaborate with manufacturing teams to integrate metrology best practices into production workflows. Manage a team of technicians and engineers, providing training and mentorship to foster a culture of precision and accountability. Analyze measurement data to identify trends, root causes of discrepancies, and opportunities for process optimization.

Required Qualifications Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing or quality assurance environment. Extensive background in metrology or calibration management. Strong knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and FDA regulations.
