Job Description:
THE ROLE:
Our site in Chaska, MN is seeking a Manufacturing Operator Blow Mold to join our team.
As a manufacturing operator in the blow mold department, you are an essential part in helping Entegris be part of the future of Innovation. The blow molding department produces drums that our customers use to store and dispense a different range of chemicals utilized for their manufacturing processes. In this role, you will rotate between three workstations that include activities such as preparing molded drums for the cooling cycle, handling and replenishing resins for a blow mold machine, and working in a clean room environment to assemble drums following standard operating procedures.
HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE 10PM-6AM MONDAY-FRIDAY
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Operates and monitors drum molding equipment and makes any adjustments as needed.
  • Trims excess material from molded drums using appropriate cutting equipment and techniques
  • Performs drum assembly tasks in a cleanroom environment, including attaching O-rings, caps, and other components to blow-molded drums.
  • Ensure proper handling and continuous replenishment of blow mold machine resins.
  • Insert cooling fixtures as required for the drum cooling process to ensure desired product dimensions.
  • Sets up laser marking equipment for accurate labeling of drums according to specifications.
  • Issues materials, updates status of work orders on SAP, and enters work order information in other ERP systems throughout production process for effective record-keeping.
  • Ensures products are consistent with established specifications through Camline software by using various measuring tools. Escalates quality issues as appropriate. Ensures the highest possible product quality and adherence to the Entegris quality policy, ISO and/or other standards.
  • Finalizes all required paperwork thoroughly and in timely (i.e. Production Reports, Rack Tickets, Labels, Component Sheets, Rework Sheets, SAP Transactions etc.).
  • Integrates on all key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, cost effectiveness and product/system quality. Promotes and implements use of continuous improvement tools to eliminate non-value activities. Participates actively in Entegris' continuous improvement activities such as 6s, Kaizen events, etc.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area. Communicates potential safety hazards immediately to supervisor.
  • Completes miscellaneous tasks assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals.

WHAT WE SEEK:
  • Must be 18 years or older and have the right to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least one (1) year of previous experience working in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical tools.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team setting.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Proven ability to execute manufacturing processes within a tight tolerance. Understand documented processes and procedures.
  • Must be able to lift to 40 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
  • Work is performed in an environment with moderate to high noise levels. Hearing protection is always required.
  • This role involves frequent pinching and grasping of hand/power tools.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required to be always worn while on duty. This includes safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, hearing protection, and high-visibility vests.
  • Adherence to cleanroom attire standards is required at times while on duty. This includes the use of specified protective gear and garments (gown, hair and beard nets, shoe coverings, and gloves) designed to maintain a clean and controlled work environment.
