mîrus Consulting Group is a local company based in Humacao, Puerto Rico that provides computer system validation and information technology consulting services to pharmaceutical companies and other organizations across the Island and parts of the United States. Its services include the assessment and validation of automation equipment, network infrastructures and business processes, as well as the project management involved.
Position Summary
The Specialist Manufacturing is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through document management, technical writing, change control ownership, and project coordination activities within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation compliance, timely execution of change controls, and successful completion of manufacturing-related projects while adhering to applicable quality and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Own and manage Change Controls from initiation through closure, ensuring compliance with applicable procedures and timelines.
  • Create, review, revise, and maintain GMP documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), reports, work instructions, protocols, and other controlled documents.
  • Manage documents and workflows within Veeva Vault (CDOCs) or similar document management systems.
  • Coordinate and support manufacturing-related projects, ensuring milestones and deliverables are achieved on schedule.
  • Utilize Smartsheet or similar project management platforms to track project progress, actions, timelines, and metrics.
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and other functional groups to support operational initiatives.
  • Ensure all documentation activities comply with GMP, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide periodic updates regarding project status and change control activities.
Qualifications
  • One of the following combinations of education and experience is required:
    • Doctorate Degree, OR
    • Master’s Degree and 2 years of Manufacturing Operations experience, OR
    • Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of Manufacturing Operations experience, OR
  • Knowledge of Veeva Vault (CDOCs) or similar electronic document management systems.
  • Strong technical writing skills with experience generating and revising GMP documentation.
  • Experience serving as a Change Control owner.
  • Experience managing and coordinating projects in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with Smartsheet or similar project management tools.
  • Working knowledge of GMP-regulated manufacturing operations.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Shift
  • 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM ( Monday to Friday)
  • Overtime may be required based on business needs
