West Monroe is seeking a Consulting Manager to join our Consumer & Industrial Products (C&IP) Team within our M&A practice. This role is designed for a delivery leader with strong program management (PMO) capabilities, a technology-leaning mindset, and experience supporting operational transformations.
You will lead complex, multi-workstream engagements, ensuring delivery excellence while driving coordination across business, operations, and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
Client Delivery (Primary Focus)
  • Manage all elements of engagements, including scope, budget, timeline, risks, and deliverables
  • Lead PMO functions across large, complex programs:
    • Workstream coordination
    • Integrated planning and tracking
    • Risk / issue management
    • Executive reporting and governance
  • Oversee multiple workstreams and teams, ensuring alignment across business, operations, and technology stakeholders
  • Support delivery of technology-enabled transformation initiatives
  • Drive execution of supply chain and operational improvement initiatives (planning, logistics, manufacturing, fulfillment)
  • Translate business objectives into structured execution plans and measurable outcomes
  • Ensure adherence to quality, risk, and delivery standards

Business Development
  • Participate in pursuits, proposals, and client planning efforts
  • Identify opportunities within existing engagements through strong client engagement and delivery credibility
  • Contribute to solution shaping, particularly for transformation programs and PMO-led engagements
  • Support building West Monroe's presence in operations and supply chain transformation

Practice Development
  • Coach and mentor team members; serve as a Career Advisor
  • Help build and refine PMO methodologies, tools, and delivery frameworks
  • Share best practices across engagements to improve execution consistency and quality
  • Support recruiting and contribute to team and culture development

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred
  • 6+ years of consulting or equivalent program leadership experience
  • Experience Leading complex, multi-workstream programs or PMOs
  • Experience Managing cross-functional teams (business, operations, IT)
  • Exposure to supply chain or operational processes (e.g., planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics)
  • Strong project financial management (budget tracking, forecasting, profitability)
  • Experience in consumer, retail, manufacturing, or industrial sectors

Key Skills
  • Program & PMO Leadership (critical path, governance, RAID, executive reporting)
  • Cross-functional coordination across business and technology teams
  • Structured problem solving and execution planning
  • Stakeholder management, including Director and VP-level clients
  • Ability to translate strategy into executable plans

Additional Requirements

Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salary range for this role can vary based on your proximity to one of our West Monroe offices (see table below). Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan, purchase shares from our employee stock ownership program and be eligible to receive annual bonuses. Employees will also receive unlimited flexible time off and ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Eligibility for ten weeks of paid parental leave will also be available upon hire date.
