Richmond Beverage Solutions, a DFA company, is seeking Maintenance Mechanics to join our team!!

Perform maintenance/mechanical work to ensure all equipment operates safely, effectively, and efficiently. Responsibilities include general and preventative maintenance, overhauls, modifications, fabrication, welding, and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting. Work with limited supervision and support lessexperienced colleagues as needed.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform planned, unplanned, and emergency maintenance on production, processing, packaging, and utility equipment following all safety procedures
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and routine inspections to assess equipment reliability and performance
  • Read and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders
  • Support installation of new equipment
  • Assist operators with troubleshooting and training to reduce downtime
  • Complete work orders accurately and on time while maintaining high quality
  • Use hand tools, power tools, electric meters, and materialhandling equipment
  • Communicate with other departments and management regarding issues affecting production
  • Ensure all repairs and required information are clearly and accurately documented per SOPs
  • Stay current on new equipment, technology, products, and techniques
  • Apply continuous improvement mindset to identify process enhancements
  • Anticipate parts requirements, follow proper purchasing procedures, and secure parts in advance
  • Maintain safe working conditions and comply with all state and federal health and safety regulations
  • Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in accordance with corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
