Job description

Entry Manufacturing Laborer – Grand Prairie Box

Position Title: Entry Manufacturing Laborer – Grand Prairie Box

Pay Rate: $24.29/hr. plus shift differential

Sign-on Bonus: $500 after 30 days, $500 after 6 months

Category/Shift: Hourly Full-Time

Monday – Saturday, must be able to work any shift

7am – 3pm (training period only)

3pm – 11pm

11pm – 7am

Physical Location: Grand Prairie Box

1200 West Carrier Parkway

Grand Prairie, TX 75050

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Following all trained and published safety policies and procedures
  • Counting and stacking finished product
  • Reading factory orders
  • Accurately reading gauges and other test equipment
  • Utilizing basic shop math and have the ability to reading a tape measure
  • Inspecting product
  • Accurately completing quality checks to ensure specific directions are followed
  • The ability to practice and maintain great housekeeping
  • This person will also be assigned to weekly clean-up functions including but not limited to blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, as well as picking up and shredding scrap.
  • Assist with securing all required tooling and materials to manufacture production orders
  • Other duties as required

The Skills You Will Bring:

  • Good attendance and punctuality
  • 2 years manufacturing experience preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Consent to a background check and pre-employment physical / drug screen
  • Verifiable, stable work history
  • Flexible to work overtime as needed
  • Must have a positive attitude with a willingness to learn new things, receive and follow instructions
