General Laborer – 1st Shift

Job Summary/Purpose: The General Laborer supports the production team by performing a variety of tasks involved in the manufacturing of cable trays. This includes material handling, machine operation assistance, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks inside the plan and on outside grounds.
  • Perform general labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting and moving materials.
  • Operate floor scrubbers and empty scrap and waste cans throughout the facility.
  • Assist with packaging, labeling and preparing products for shipment.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools and material handling equipment safely.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Support other departments or tasks as needed to meet production goals.
Required Qualifications/Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualification:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
