Position Description
Treatment Plant Laborer
Summary:
  • Install above and below grade piping and supports
  • Install process equipment
  • Rig piping and equipment for crane hoisting
  • Install railings and grating
  • Set precast structures
  • Form and pour concrete structures
  • Tie Reinforcing bar for concrete slabs and walls
  • Pour concrete slabs and walls

Position Requirements
Treatment Plant Laborer
Desired Qualifications/Skills:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Sufficient education or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training that provides the desired knowledge, skills and characteristics to perform duties
  • 10 Hour OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain within ninety (90) days of employment
  • Thorough knowledge of Adena Corporation's safety plan and OSHA regulations
  • Must be willing and able to travel to jobsites which may at times require overnight stays away from home
  • Must have a good work ethic, and the ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to perform on a regular basis in outside weather conditions consisting of wet, hot, humid and/or freezing temperatures, also contending with dirt and dust
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to problem solve various situations
