Warehouse Associate

At Safe-Way Door, we're more than one of America's leading garage door manufacturers—we're a team that takes pride in quality, hard work, and supporting one another. Every day, our distribution team helps ensure customers receive the right products on time and in perfect condition.

If you're someone who enjoys staying active, working with your hands, and being part of a fast-paced team, we'd love to meet you.

Your Responsibilities Include:
  • Receive and organize materials transferred from our manufacturing facility
  • Safely unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other warehouse equipment
  • Load garage doors, track, hardware, springs, and openers onto customer vehicles and trailers
  • Verify quantities and inspect shipments for damage before loading
  • Perform daily cycle counts and assist with annual inventory
  • Separate warehouse stock from customer-specific job materials
  • Complete paperwork accurately to ensure orders are staged correctly
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand tools, and other warehouse equipment
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and best practices
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Support teammates and contribute to a positive, safety-first culture
Qualifications

Required:

  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and related material handling equipment
  • Ability to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds

Preferred:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous warehouse or distribution experience
  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one)
Physical Requirements
  • Standing and walking for extended periods
  • Frequent lifting, bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and carrying
  • Regular lifting of materials weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Working safely around forklifts and moving equipment
