Industrial Maintenance Technician II | 2nd Shift

Location: Strafford, MO
Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday–Thursday | 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM
Pay: $26–$28/hour (Based on Experience)


Position Overview

American Products is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician II to support plant operations by maintaining and repairing production equipment and facility systems. This role is key to ensuring uptime, safety, and efficiency across our manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PMs) independently
  • Diagnose equipment issues including motors, switches, breakers, and power systems
  • Work with 480V, 230V (3-phase), and single-phase electrical systems
  • Disassemble and repair machinery to correct malfunctions
  • Fabricate or repair parts using shop equipment (lathe, drill press, grinder, welding)
  • Inspect components for wear, misalignment, or failure
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Support facility maintenance needs as required

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Experience working with CMMS systems
  • Industrial Maintenance certification (or currently enrolled) preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
