JOB SUMMARY
The Project Management Intern handles multiple duties in an organized, professional and time-sensitive manner. The Project Management intern provides hands-on experience supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of construction and infrastructure projects. In addition, the Project Management Intern will assist in scheduling, documentation, quality control, and communication between internal teams, contractors, and clients. The Project Management Intern reports to the Project Manager.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
โ€ข Manage workflow to ensure deadlines are met and work is completed accurately and timely
โ€ข Generate memos, emails and reports, file when appropriate
โ€ข Respond to questions and requests for information
โ€ข Participate in project meetings and record action items and follow-ups.
โ€ข Help prepare and maintain project schedules, production timelines, and delivery plans.
โ€ข Track and document project progress, change orders, material quantities.
โ€ข Other projects and duties as assigned
SKILLS & ABILITIES
โ€ข High school diploma or equivalent
โ€ข Valid DL with clear driving record
โ€ข 2+ years clerical experience
โ€ข Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
โ€ข Excellent verbal and written communication skills
โ€ข Must be able to work independently or with a team; willingness to be flexible as needed
โ€ข Proficiency in MS Office
โ€ข Consistent, reliable and punctual attendance
โ€ข Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
โ€ข Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
โ€ข Ability to prioritize tasks
โ€ข Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires constant (70-100%) use hands to finger, hearing (listening) and observing (vision), hand/eye coordination, walking and sitting. Requires Occasional (40-69%) lifting up to 25lbs, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling and feeling. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision and ability to adjust & focus. Employee shall be able to be medically qualified by a NON-DOT or other job specific physical.
