Job description

Timber Creek, located in Fort Myers, Fl, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Administrative Assistant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Summary:
Provides high-level administrative support as directed by department leaders and/or the General Manager. This role supports multiple departments including Accounting, Human Resources, Sales, Events, and Marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Performs administrative duties such as filing, answering phones, taking messages, handling information requests, and data entry
  • Completes clerical tasks including typing, copying, and taking meeting minutes
  • Greets and orients visitors to the department and/or facility
  • Distributes daily mail and maintains organized filing systems, including databases and digital files
  • Completes special projects and additional duties as assigned
  • Availability to work weekends as needed to support events
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Performs other duties as required

Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED; and three to five years of administrative or secretarial experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience supporting senior-level management and/or multiple managers preferred

Physical Demands:
  • Works in a typical office environment; frequently sits and occasionally stands and walks
  • Regular use of a computer and standard office equipment required

Environment/Noise:
  • Noise level is moderate

Certificates/Licenses:
  • No certifications or licenses required

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:
  • Ability to read and speak English to perform job duties
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to type at least 50 words per minute accurately
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to compose correspondence and handle inquiries professionally
