Job Description


We are seeking a dedicated and professional Local CDL Class A Driver to support our recycling operations in the Treasure Valley. The Timber Creek Driver/Operator will be trained on multiple routes and products, pulling up to 53 walking floor trailers on dedicated routes as well as delivering products directly to our customers. This role involves a mix of drop-and-hook loads and direct customer deliveries, operating on a consistent schedule that gets you home every night. The ideal candidate is a safety-conscious individual who can represent the company professionally on the road. Limited lifting is required.

What you will be doing:


  • Dedicated route drivers have five drop and hook loads to pull each day, including rolling a tarp and sweeping out the trailer once it is empty.
  • Delivery drivers have a dynamic schedule of delivering our products to customers each day. They may be called upon to assist route drivers with short notice from time to time to assist with demand.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip operational and safety inspections on all equipment.
  • Attend regular safety meetings.
  • Display safe and courteous driving; youre the face of our company each day on the road.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, cooperation, and adaptability with other drivers and customers.
  • Drivers will often work extended hours, on average 10-12 hours a day.

What you need to become a Timber Creek Driver:


  • Class A CDL with no automatic restriction (Required)
  • Valid DOT Medical Card, or are able to get one (Required)
  • Must be 21 years of age to drive our vehicles
  • Class A Driving: 2 years (Preferred)
  • A record of safe driving
  • Physically able to roll tarps and get in and out of trailers unassisted. At times, drivers may be required to push/pull 50-70 lbs.
