As a Business Experience & Planning Manager Sr within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Denver, CO or Pittsburgh, PA.
The Business Experience & Planning Manager Sr is responsible for leading strategic planning, governance, and operational administration activities supporting the Technology Third-Party Vendor Management program. This role leads a team of 6-7 professionals responsible for managing critical third-party management routines, vendor governance processes, contract oversight, and cross-functional partnerships across the Technology organization.
This role is instrumental in driving program maturity through process formalization, governance enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives that support scalable and sustainable business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of 6-7 professionals responsible for Technology third-party vendor management activities and governance processes.
Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture that emphasizes employee development, empowerment, and engagement.
Develop and execute strategic initiatives that enhance the effectiveness, scalability, and maturity of the Technology third-party management program.
Partner with Technology, Sourcing, Legal, Risk, Procurement, Finance, and other stakeholders to support business objectives and vendor management strategies.
Oversee the review, analysis, approval, and administration of vendor contracts, Statements of Work (SOWs), amendments, and related third-party documentation.
Manage operational routines and governance processes supporting third-party lifecycle management.
Analyze the Technology third-party program performance, identify trends, assess risks, and recommend opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
Lead business planning, forecasting, resource planning, and reporting activities associated with third-party management operations.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators, dashboards, and executive reporting to provide insights on program effectiveness and vendor performance.
Drive process standardization, governance enhancements, and operational controls to improve consistency, compliance, and efficiency.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with third-party engagements while balancing business needs and strategic priorities.
Lead cross-functional projects and change initiatives that support organizational objectives and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and third-party risk management standards.
Key Skills &Qualifications:
Experience in business planning, operations, vendor management, third-party risk management, procurement, contract administration, strategy, or related disciplines.
Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams, including direct people leadership responsibilities.
Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing stakeholders across multiple business functions.
Strong understanding of third-party vendor management, contract governance, Statements of Work, and operational controls.
Proven ability to establish structure, formalize processes, and implement scalable solutions within complex environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, including experience utilizing data to drive business outcomes.
Excellent communication, presentation, relationship management, and organizational skills.
Ability to balance strategic planning with operational execution in a dynamic environment.
Experience supporting Technology organizations or technology vendor management programs.
Knowledge of third-party risk management and vendor governance frameworks.
Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries.
