Job description

Project Manager - Fixed Income Technology
This is a Business Analyst / Project Manager role supporting the Fixed Income Technology PM Engagement team. Fixed Income Technology team is responsible for the development and support of trading platforms, position and risk management, data, and tools used by our Fixed Income portfolio managers.
The successful candidate will be comfortable interacting directly with portfolio managers, and will bring strong project management, communication, domain knowledge, and collaboration skills.
Principal Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with portfolio managers and senior business management
  • Act as a tech-savvy partner to PM teams, helping with technical inquiries and identifying the most suitable solutions
  • Interface with stakeholders across the organization at multiple levels of seniority
  • Perform business analysis and project management, including requirements gathering across platforms and coordinating project-level integration
  • Drive the rollout of our Launchpad and related application suite

Qualifications / Skills Required
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Solid financial markets experience, including exposure to trading applications, risk management, operations, middle office, and Fixed Income products
  • Subject matter expertise in Fixed Income pricing and related technology
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with prior experience engaging directly with portfolio managers
  • Business analysis and hands-on project delivery experience across the full SDLC for major change initiatives at an investment bank, buy-side firm, exchange, or software vendor
  • Ability to communicate in detail with development teams and users, and to provide clear, concise updates to senior stakeholders
  • Coding/scripting skills and experience using AI tools are a strong plus

The estimated base salary range for this position is $175,000 to $250,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual's experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
