The Lafayette School Corporation (LSC) is seeking an experienced educational leader to serve as the District Data Specialist / Corporation Test Coordinator. This critical district-level administrative position oversees student information and assessment systems, state and federal reporting, data analysis, accountability measures, and strategic forecasting to support informed decision-making across the corporation.
The Director of Data and Data Reporting serves as the district's primary coordinator for state assessments and reporting requirements while ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and effective use of student, staff, and operational data. The position works under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent for Secondary Education and supports the needs of all cabinet-level administrators.
This role is ideal for a highly organized educational leader who possesses strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to leveraging data to improve student outcomes.

Position Summary
The District Data Specialist/Corporation Test Coordinator is responsible for overseeing district assessment programs, state and federal reporting requirements, student information system data management, accountability reporting, and data analysis. The position serves as the Lafayette School Corporation's Corporation Test Coordinator and primary administrator of Forecast5 Analytics.
This position collaborates with district administrators, principals, instructional leaders, technology staff, and state agencies to ensure accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and meaningful use of data to support district goals.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Valid Indiana K 12 Administrative License.
  • Valid Indiana Teaching License
  • Demonstrated knowledge of K 12 educational systems and accountability measures.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and complex reporting requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Significant experience with educational data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Experience working with student information systems and state reporting platforms.
  • Experience as a classroom teacher and/or building-level administrator.
  • Experience coordinating large-scale student assessment programs.
  • Experience using Forecast5 or similar educational analytics platforms.

Essential Responsibilities
Assessment Coordination and Accountability
  • Serve as the Lafayette School Corporation Corporation Test Coordinator.
  • Coordinate all aspects of district and state assessment programs, including:
    • ILEARN (Grades 3 8 and High School Biology)
    • ILEARN Checkpoints
    • IREAD
    • Indiana Alternate Measure (IAM)
    • PSAT/SAT
  • Coordinate district testing logistics, training, security protocols, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage student testing accommodations and assessment reporting.
  • Support implementation and administration of formative assessment initiatives and grant programs.

District Data Management and Analysis
  • Serve as the chief administrator for Forecast5 Analytics.
  • Maintain and analyze student achievement, enrollment, attendance, discipline, and college and career readiness data.
  • Manage PowerSchool data warehousing and related data systems.
  • Oversee Data Exchange and EdData submissions.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to support district and school improvement efforts.
  • Provide data analysis and forecasting to district leadership for strategic planning and decision-making.

Student Information and Reporting Systems
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of district student information system data.
  • Coordinate student testing number (STN) management and verification.
  • Support district initiatives involving:
    • NWEA Dyslexia Screener
    • IXL
    • i-Ready
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting related to assessment and reporting systems.

State and Federal Reporting
Coordinate and submit all required state reporting, including but not limited to:

  • Provide training and support to administrators and school staff regarding assessment and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with curriculum, technology, special education, student services, and building leadership teams.
  • Monitor changes to state and federal reporting requirements and ensure district compliance.
  • Assist cabinet-level administrators with data requests and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent.
