Registered Nurse (RN) - Telehealth / Virtual Care (Omaha Onsite Only)
Banyan Medical Systems is hiring on-site Virtual Registered Nurses (RNs) to support our innovative telehealth platform. These are not work-from-home positions. You must be able to commute to our office in Omaha, NE.
In this role, you'll enjoy a professional office setting while supporting bedside nurses through virtual patient care coordination. Using our technology, you'll connect directly with patients through their in-room TVs, assisting with key non-direct care tasks like admissions, discharges, patient education, and daily rounding.

Position Details
  • Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours/week
  • Shifts: Days and Nights available (based on client need)
  • Training: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Central Time) for first week of Clinical Orientation
  • Schedule post-orientation will align with assigned clients
  • Rotation: Includes weekends and holidays
  • Work Location: Onsite in Omaha, NE

What We're Looking For
Essential Skills:
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and discharge planning abilities
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Competency in using Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and healthcare IT systems
  • Effective typing and documentation skills using multiple computer applications
  • Leadership skills with ability to guide, supervise, and collaborate with interprofessional teams
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution with a patient-centered mindset
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred-additional $2.00/hr once Level II certification passed preferred
Key Responsibilities
  • Complete virtual admissions, discharges, education, and rounding
  • Support bedside staff by managing non-direct care responsibilities
  • Collaborate with care teams to streamline patient flow and discharge planning
  • Participate in department initiatives and continuous quality improvement
  • Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in the EHR
Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of an RN program (BSN preferred)
  • Licensure: Active Nebraska Multi-State RN License (unrestricted)
  • Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association required)
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3 years acute care experience (Med/Surg, PCCU, ICU, or ED)
    • Proficiency with Epic or Cerner (Required)
    • Virtual or care coordination experience a plus
    • Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred ($2.00/hour bonus with Level II certification)
Compensation & Differentials
  • Base Pay: $38/hour - $40/hour (based on experience)
  • Night Differential: +$1.75/hour
  • Weekend Differential:
    • Day: +$2.25/hour
    • Night: +$4.00/hour
