Job description

TextExpander is hiring a Revenue Operations Lead to own and build the systems that power our revenue engine. This is a hands-on builder's role for someone equally fluent in RevOps fundamentals - HubSpot architecture, outbound motion, pipeline reporting, and sales compensation - and in the emerging discipline of AI-assisted operations.
You'll own our Hubspot instance from the ground up, design and deploy AI agents that automate the manual work across our go-to-market motion, and partner with leadership across Sales, Marketing, CS, and Finance to turn data into decisions. If you like designing infrastructure as much as running it, this role offers a rare combination: full ownership of the systems and a small, fast team that ships.
Responsibilities
  • HubSpot Ownership - Serve as the primary admin and architect of our HubSpot instance, including CRM configuration, lifecycle stages, pipelines, properties, workflows, reporting, and integrations across Sales Hub and Marketing Hub.
  • AI Agent Development - Design, build, and deploy AI agents and assistants (using Claude, Claude Code, or comparable platforms like RelevanceAI) to automate research, enrichment, lead qualification, CS workflows, and internal GTM tasks.
  • Outbound Engine - Build and continuously optimize TextExpander's outbound motion end-to-end, including tech stack selection (sequencer, enrichment, intent data), ICP and target list creation, sequence design, deliverability, and performance measurement.
  • Workflow Automation - Build and maintain advanced automations connecting HubSpot to the broader tech stack via Zapier, n8n, or native integrations, including third-party tools and middleware.
  • Data & Reporting - Build dashboards and analytics in HubSpot (and adjacent tools like Sheets, Looker, or Tableau) to track pipeline, conversion, retention, and forecasting KPIs, and deliver clear insights to the VP of Sales and the broader leadership team.
  • Tech Stack Management - Evaluate, implement, and manage the RevOps tech stack, owning vendor relationships, integrations, and data hygiene across systems.
  • Sales Compensation - Design and administer sales compensation plans, including quota setting, and build reporting to track attainment, payout accuracy, and plan effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership - Partner directly with Sales, Marketing, CS, and Finance leadership to align operations with revenue goals and drive data-informed decisions.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience - 5+ years of Sales/Revenue Operations experience in B2B SaaS.
  • HubSpot Expertise - Deep, hands-on HubSpot administration experience; certification strongly preferred. You should be able to architect a HubSpot instance from scratch, not just maintain one.
  • AI & Automation - Demonstrated experience building AI agents or workflows using Claude, ChatGPT, or other LLM platforms, including prompt engineering, agent design, and integrating LLMs into business workflows.
  • Integration Tooling - Proficiency with Zapier and comfort with at least one of: n8n, Make, Workato, or similar third-party middleware.
  • Analytical Skills - Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization.
  • Communication - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, critical for a fully remote role. Ability to translate technical systems into plain language for non-technical stakeholders.
Why TextExpander
TextExpander is an established SaaS company with a long track record and a loyal customer base. We're a lean, fully remote team of around 50 people in the middle of an ambitious chapter: evolving from our text-expansion roots into an AI-powered workflow control and security platform.
That evolution is exactly why this role exists. We're not bolting AI onto our operations as an afterthought; we're rethinking how a modern revenue team works, and you'll be at the center of it. You'll have the autonomy to design systems from scratch, enough proximity to leadership to see your work shape real decisions, and a team small enough that what you build genuinely matters.
Benefits:
  • High level of autonomy in your role
  • Motivated and creative teammates
  • Flexible schedule
  • Employment benefits:
    • Healthcare reimbursement plan (ICHRA) - choose your own coverage, reimbursed by us
    • Paid vacation and sick leave
    • Company-paid Short- and Long-Term Disability Insurance
    • Company-paid basic life insurance
    • Paid Parental Leave Policy
    • 401(k) plan
  • Salary based on experience and location; $140,000-$170,000
The Fine Print:
TextExpander provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment. Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender perception or identity, national origin, age, marital status, protected veteran status, or disability status.
