Manager, Revenue ManagementPosition Overview

We are seeking a Manager, Revenue Management to lead revenue optimization, inventory management, forecasting, reporting, and revenue system processes. This role will manage revenue analysts and work closely with Pricing, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Data & Analytics, Distribution, and Technology teams to improve revenue, demand, ridership, and overall financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead revenue management activities including forecasting, inventory optimization, performance analysis, and revenue reporting.

  • Manage and develop a team of Revenue Management Analysts while establishing best practices, processes, and training programs.

  • Partner with Data & Analytics and Technology teams on revenue management system configuration, automation, reporting improvements, and product implementations.

  • Monitor and report key revenue KPIs, business performance, and initiative progress to senior leadership.

  • Maintain accurate inventory configurations across varying demand periods and seasons.

  • Validate data and reports at multiple levels to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

  • Work with Pricing and Distribution teams to implement revenue strategies and maintain connectivity with distribution partners.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Data Science, Operations, Partnerships, Sales, and other teams to identify opportunities and drive revenue growth.

  • Identify process gaps and develop detailed action plans for continuous improvement.

  • Support technology/product releases, including occasional after-hours coordination when required.

  • Provide regular performance updates and insights to key stakeholders and senior leadership.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; equivalent relevant education and experience may be considered.

  • 5+ years of experience in pricing and revenue management preferred.

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience using a revenue management system preferred.

  • Experience in airline, hospitality, cruise, rental car, transportation, or another demand-driven industry preferred.

  • Strong leadership, team development, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Solid understanding of demand forecasting, revenue optimization, inventory management, and revenue management processes.

  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint required.

  • Experience with Python, R, Alteryx, Tableau, or similar analytics tools preferred.

  • Strong analytical, deductive, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and translate findings into practical, data-driven action plans.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience with ATPCO, Amadeus, Sabre, or other distribution platforms.

  • Advanced SQL and experience with Python, R, Alteryx, Tableau, or comparable analytical tools.

  • MBA or advanced degree in a quantitative, analytical, business, or related discipline.

  • Experience implementing pricing strategies within airline, transportation, travel, or other demand-based environments.

  • Familiarity with ticketing/reservation systems, revenue management platforms, and inventory systems.
