About the Role

Remote job opening in Iowa for an Employee Benefits Account Manager. You join an independent insurance agency that offers full service insurance solutions. The agency seeks someone with a passion for client service who can balance behind-the-scenes policy management with client engagement for small group employers.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • You strengthen relationships with clients, helping them with benefits administration and answering questions about coverage, claims, and billing issues
  • You lead several key moments within the life cycle of their account including plan implementation, renewal preparation, case submissions, and enrollment meetings


Skills & Experience

  • Active state insurance license
  • Minimum of three (3) years in client service working with group health and welfare benefits plans
